Overview:
The RED ONE’s light weight and modular body weighs in at only 9 lbs and packs a visual punch. The camera offers a streamlined package that can be built upon and accessorized to service the visual demands of a feature production or scaled back to accommodate other production needs.
One of the many advantages of the RED ONE is that it has employed a 35mm PL lens mount which allows users to take advantage of some of the world’s best optics. The camera has also adopted a single plane 12M pixel sensor which, when shooting at up to 60fps, records an incredible dynamic range and color space 12 bit native RAW. Though the camera has been hailed for its 4K recording abilities, the creators of RED ONE recognized that production needs vary from project to project. With that in mind, they have integrated options so that cinematographers can dial back the amount of data being recorded while still capturing the exceptional imagery offered by the Mysterium™ Super 35mm cine sized (24.4×13.7mm) sensor.
